Henry (Hank) Selke MD

Dr. Hank Selke attended Indiana University where he received his BS degree in biochemistry with honors in 1999. He earned his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2005.

Dr. Selke completed both his internal medicine residency and infectious diseases fellowship at the Indiana University School of Medicine in 2010. He is a member of the Indiana State Medical Association and the Infectious Diseases Society of America.

Dr. Selke is board certified in internal medicine and board eligible in infectious diseases. He has worked with the Centers for Disease Control on the investigation of a cluster of cases of idiopathic granulomatous mastitis, a rare inflammatory breast lesion of unknown etiology.

Dr. Selke has published several articles evaluating the effectiveness of task-shifting HIV care from health care works to lay-people living with HIV/AIDS to deliver home based HIV care in rural Kenya.

Dr. Selke also published an article describing the outcomes of people with HIV who underwent bariatric surgery.
