A native Hoosier, Dr Steven Samuels graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Indiana University in 1984, receiving a B.A. in biology. His medical degree was obtained from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1988.

Dr Samuels served his internship and residency at Indiana University School of Medicine in the area of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the Indiana State Medical Association, the Marion County Medical Society and the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Samuels has served as Chief of Staff at Community Hospital South and as chairman of Department of Internal Medicine. Dr. Samuels currently serves as Medical Director of Kindred Hospital South.

Dr. Samuels currently is the team internist for the Indiana Pacers. Steven Samuels MD has published articles on COPD and erectile dysfunction over the last several years. He enjoys a wide range of primary care medicine, with a particular interest in critical care, diabetes, COPD, and lipid management.
